Sharing Our Stories

Hello!
Long time, no post!  I am glad to be back in the blogging world!  It has been WAY TOO LONG.  I would like to take this time to discuss the great project we are lucky enough to be part of this year.  The special project is called Sharing Our Stories and it involves meeting new people and learning about different communities.  We have met with our partner school, Conte-West Hills, three times now.  We have worked on creating videos, writing about personal experiences, and illustrating using oil pastels.  What has been your favorite part so far?  I am looking forward to our family night in early April.  I can't wait to see all of the completed work and see how impressed and proud your families are!  Keep up the great work!  Keep sharing your story :)

Science Project

Hello Scientists!
Now that we have seen an example of a completed "Ecosystem in a Bottle" project, I hope that you have a good idea how to make your model.  Remember, DO NOT cut holes in the tops of the bottle.  The water cycle will take care of keeping your plant hydrated (well watered).  Don't forget to include the written part of the assignment.  I cannot wait to see all of the projects on October 25, the due date!!!  Happy gardening, Mrs. Landolfi

New Classroom Plants!

Our new classroom plants are here!  They need some love and care!  Their leaves are brown and dry.  Usually plants do very well in 4A...so let's see if we can revive them :)  Can anyone tell me what type of plants they are?  The classroom researchers and our classroom gardener can feel free to find out using the computers!  Let me know what you find!  ~Mrs. Landolfi

Welcome to 4A

Hello Everyone!
I have been having so much fun getting to know all of you :)  I feel so lucky to have such a great class!  I hope each one of you feels lucky to have such wonderful classmates, too! We are going to have so much fun this year together!  We're off to a GREAT start!
